You are applying to be a merchant/vendor during 6ZERO7 Advertising Concepts hosted (or sponsored) craft/vendor/flea markets to be referred to as "Open Air Markets" in most cases.
Fees are due immediately to secure your space, in part because consultants representing the same company may have interest in the same market and may also be approved to participate in our events. But also because you are not being charged 'to rent space' but rather being charged for a portion of the 'marketing expenses' that come with being part of making 6zero7 Events a success; This is also why we have a restrict no refund policy. Planning and expenditures take place regardless of emergencies that may occur and instances including but not limited to undesirable weather conditions, acts of God and other circumstances beyond my control or yours. Unlike other events, we do allow transfer of spaces (see more on this below).
Events are to be considered "rain or shine" unless otherwise published. There may be special rules for some venues if weather is rainy or wet - such as restricted parking areas, no driving on grass, etc.
Afton Open Air Market - if the ground is soft, no vehicles will be prohibited on the grass in the market area. In case of light rain we may call for a Sunday rain date; In case of heavy rain we may call for a rain date the following Saturday. We may poll merchants to come to a decision.
Monday Night Markets - will be cancelled should there be 40% or higher chance of rain / or should it be obviously raining.
Autumn Open Air Market - rain or shine | Afton Sidewalk Day - rain or shine |
Vendors are required to check-in upon arrival and prior to set up. In some cases a check-in timeframe may be required based on your mapped location. Unless otherwise published, setup time begins one hour prior to the advertised start time of the event and you should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the markets advertised start time.
Vendors are expected to remain setup until the advertised ending time of any event, unless/until a survey of ALL participants is conducted and it is collectively decided otherwise (such instances may include bad weather or low foot traffic for a lengthy period). If you know you are going to be unable to stay for the duration, please make note of this or consider making arrangements to share the space so it is not empty for any portion of the market.
If an emergency arises for you, making you unable to fulfill your merchant obligations, it is asked that you notify via email, fb msg, txt msg or phone call within 24 hours of market start time so we may attempt to fill your space. In the case of two no call/no shows and/or any two offenses going against terms and conditions outlined here, your future participation in 6zero7 Events may be suspended or terminated. This does include following all COVID-19 related guidelines set in place by county, state and federal government agencies.
Merchants should display any business licenses, permits and IDs required by county, state and federal laws (this is at the discretion of the individual vending parties). The sale of age restricted items is prohibited w/o licensing (no weapons, tobacco products, CBD, etc). Absolutely no distribution of confetti, silly string or fireworks.
Food/Drink vendors must be licensed and insured, however please notice that not ALL events allow for food/drink vending. If your space will feature food/drink of any kind, this must be noted on your registration form in the "Briefly describe your products/services" space. If you do not present yourself as a food vendor on this application and you do attempt selling food/drink items, you will be asked to discontinue food/drink sales OR leave the event. Sales consultants for food companies may offer samples but must provide a secured bag or can for trash. As a general rule, food/drink vendors should be self-sufficient and tote their own required utilities including electric, sanitation/water, refrigeration, trash collection and removal, etc.
Please show courtesy to fellow participants. Smoking in the market area is prohibited, please use designated parking area(s) for cigarette breaks.
Adding your links and business card/logo within the registration form enables us to market your participation further - if these items are left out, you should consider making your own posts to the corresponding FB event(s).
Following your registration, you will be contacted via email. By submitting the registration form you are agreeing to all terms and conditions and acknowledge that terms and conditions are subject to revisions. You read and understand that vendor equipment, inventory and personal property are not covered by the events liability insurance; Should this coverage be desired it must be purchased independently. Additional terms & conditions vary by event, you should check event facebook pages and websites for any additional rules or regulations and/or safety guidelines.
Email any space transfer requests, special notices such as allergies or illnesses, requests to be near restrooms or to have a handicap parking option and other questions/concerns to Melissa at 6zero7merchants@gmail.com.
